Keyword Density Rating

Keywords are the foundation of a quality search marketing analysis and campaign.  Find out which keywords are most prevalent on your page and fine tune the content to match your priorities.  Your Score report will reveal if you have too little or too many mentions of your target keyword throughout the page content.  If you over optimize, you can be penalized by Google and other search engines.

SEO Scoring Factors

Site Speed Score

Page load time and speed are a ranking factor for both search engines and humans.  Bounce rate is caused when a page loads too slow and people leave before it fully loads.

URL Optimization

Is your URL too long?  Too Short?  Is it SEO friendly?  Does the URL have the exact keywords you are trying to rank?  Optimizing your URLs can be a major difference in SEO ranking.

Meta Title Tags

Your SEO Score is based on a few major factors and meta titles are very important.  Proper optimization will have your focus keyword leading in your page titles.  Page titles should begin with the target keywords and be no more than 70 characters in length

Meta Description

Meta descriptions should be between 150 and 300 characters.  they should include the exact match keyword and other variations like synonyms.  also include your local city name if you have a local business.

Image Analysis

Images play an important roll in your page rank optimization.  Make sure they all have alt tags and try to use variations of your keywords or LSI.  Don’t stuff the same keywords into every image on your page though.

Keyword Density and Term Frequency

Keyword density and term frequency relate to how many times a particular word is mentioned in the page content.  Try to keep your focus keywords to 3% of the total word count for the page.  Use variations and LSI to distribute meaning and context to your page content.

Heading Tags

Heading tags give structure to your content and help humans and search engines understand what your page content is.  H1, H2 and H3 headings are most common.  Use exact match and variations of your keywords in the heading, but don’t create duplicate headings.

Copy Analysis

The body content and written copy will be a big factor in your ranking.  word count plays an important roll in your page rank and you will usually need to have 1500-2000 words on your page to rank on the first page.  have your exact keyword in the first 100 words of the page.

Code Analysis

Your page code can help or hurt your SEO score.  Text to HTML ratio is a factor.  Adding structure data or schema markup to your page helps search engine bots understand your page.

Social Analysis and Authority

Social shares are an important factor in building trust and authority for your page content.  If you have a great piece of content more people will share it.  If more people are sharing your content, Google trusts that it is of value and should be higher in the results.

Mobile Analysis

Is your web page mobile friendly?  Google just recently switch to a mobile first indexing preference.  If your web site is not mobile optimize, you could drop in the search results and lose traffic.  Mobile friendly is also referred to as being mobile responsive.

Page Link Analysis

Pages have their on ranking score.  each page is considered a separate document by the search engines.  pages with more links to them show that other websites trust the content of your page enough to link to it.  So Google should trust the pages with the most quality links.  Inbound and outbound links are a ranking factor.

Root Domain Link Analysis

The domain hosting a page has a rating and score.  pages on high authority domains usually have an easier path to the first page results than sites on low authority domains.  Building your domain’s trust score will help sub pages rank faster too.  so you will need links from quality sites to improve your domain’s score.

Domain Analysis

Your domain is the house your content lives in.  A strong domain is important for a quality score.  How old is your domain?  Is it secure with https?  Does is have a robots.txt files for search engines?  Are there canonical references on the pages?  The length of your domain can have an impact.  Also we see that exact match domains with the target keywords in them, seems to rank better than without.
